Caregiver - Overnight weekend shifts available
About the Role
Griswold Home Care for Chevy Chase is seeking compassionate overnight Caregivers to join our team. This companionship and caregiving position offers flexible hours assisting seniors on night shifts, Friday through Sunday (8pm-8am).
As a Caregiver, you will help seniors live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in their homes. You will provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship, assisting with responsibilities such as laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and maintaining personal hygiene. You may also provide companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments.
You will complete documentation for each shift, submit timely updates, and communicate routinely with the office about the condition and needs of your clients.
Requirements
- Current CNA License
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 2+ years of home care experience (a plus; caring for a loved one counts)
We are willing to train suitable candidates.
