Schedule

Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 AM–6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities designed to meet clients’ fundamental needs and provide meaningful moments throughout the day, even as the disease progresses.
• Focus on creating activities that engage clients’ abilities in six key areas: social, emotional, physical, nutritional, intellectual, and spiritual.
• Use a person-centered, activity-based care approach to ensure days are filled with joy, dignity, and meaning.
• Drive own vehicle to and from outings and appointments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• Minimum of 1 year of Dementia/Alzheimer’s care experience
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle with current registration and insurance
• Ability to pass a background check
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Home Care Aide clearance with the State of California
• Timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification as required by the California Community Care Facilities Act
