Opportunity
At IREG, resident care is more than just tasks and checklists. Resident Caregivers are integral members of the care team, fostering independence and enhancing the quality of life for residents through compassionate support and meaningful relationships.
Duties
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning
- Observe residents and promptly communicate changes in condition to the nursing team
- Aid with meal service, hydration, and resident engagement throughout the day
- Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident living environments
- Document resident care and services accurately and timely
- Support community activities and encourage resident participation
- Deliver exceptional resident-centered care while preserving dignity and independence
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum six (6) months of caregiving, resident assistant, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred
- CNA certification preferred but not required
- Assisted Living or Memory Care experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and daily care needs
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Must successfully complete all required state and company training
- Must pass required background screenings and employment eligibility requirements
