Caregiver - Pick Your Morning or Evening

About the role

A male client in or near Culpeper is seeking a companion who enjoys going to IHOP and can provide reminders for blood sugar checks and insulin administration. This role offers flexible scheduling options, including morning (10am - 2pm) or evening (5pm - 9pm) shifts on weekdays or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Companionship and conversation
• Timely reminders for insulin and blood sugar management
• Assistance with activities, mobility, and light exercise
• Meal preparation and medication reminders
• Support with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Light housekeeping
• Occasional transportation (errands, appointments, outings)

Requirements

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience
• Valid CNA, HHA, PCA, or DSP certification (or willingness to train)
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Pay

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour, with additional bonuses and mileage reimbursement between shifts.
