About the role
Professional Case Management, a leader in home healthcare, is seeking Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) to provide in-home healthcare services.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Experience in personal care, nursing, or related fields (considered for candidates without formal training)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Emotional and cognitive maturity to maintain positive relationships with clients and families
- Ability to perform non-skilled personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and medication reminders
- Knowledge of basic household tasks like light cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry
- Valid driver’s license with appropriate insurance
- Pass a 2-step TB skin test and provide proof to HR
- Have a neat, clean appearance
- Be free from health conditions that could be harmful to clients, yourself, or coworkers

Essential Functions
- Adhere to the plan of care developed by a registered nurse
- Encourage clients to become as independent as possible while maintaining confidentiality and dignity
- Perform non-skilled personal care tasks such as bathing, skin care, hair care, nail care, mouth care, shaving, dressing, feeding, ambulation, exercise, transfers, positioning, medication reminding, respiratory care, homemaking, and respite care
- Handle routine housekeeping tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, dishwashing, bed making, laundry, attending medical appointments, and shopping
- Follow emergency procedures in case of accidents, injuries, or significant changes in the client’s condition
Pay and Schedule
The standard rate is $15.00 - $17.50 per hour.
