Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
  • Assist with all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and under the guidelines of medication administration protocols.
  • Answer call lights in a timely manner and respond to residents’ needs.
  • Motivate and encourage resident involvement in activities.
  • Assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
  • Perform lifting, turning, and re-positioning of residents as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Organized and self-motivated.
  • Completion of first aid training program.
  • Previous experience in an assisted living facility is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, residents, and family members.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant License is a plus but not required.

Pay

$20/hour plus shift differential.
