CAREGIVER - (PART TIME)
Full Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transferring and positioning of the client
- Observing and reporting changes in physical and mental conditions
- Skin care - assist in applying over the counter lotions to prevent dry skin
- Clean and maintain medical equipment - power wheelchair, hospital bed, shower chair, and Hoyer lift
- Accompaniment of client when out of home to grocery, doctors appointment, or pharmacy errands.
- Prep/clean after a meal
- Basic home chores (sweeping, mopping, dusting, laundry)
- Personal care assistance (toileting)
- Bathing - perform a skilled transfer into shower using transfers
- Dressings
- Companionship and conversation
Requirements
Three 4 hour shifts (Monday, Wednesday & Friday ONLY)
- Be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years of related care-giving experience.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Personal vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift 50 LBS
- Weekly direct deposit

This companionship and caregiving position offers Three 4 HOUR SHIFTS and opportunities to assist seniors. As a Caregiver, you have the rewarding job of helping seniors live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in the places they love. You competently provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship, helping with various responsibilities such as laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. With the client's dignity always at the forefront of your mind, you help them maintain proper personal hygiene. You are gentle and professional as you aid them with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding. At times, you provide companionship to clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments. You're kind and patient demeanor serves you well as you ensure they receive the highest quality of elderly care. You carefully complete documentation for each shift, submitting timely updates. Committed to providing consistent elderly care, you communicate routinely with the office about the condition and needs of your clients.
