Caregiver - NOC Shift Sunday -Thursday

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Watermark Retirement Communities. Our ideal candidate has 1 year of experience as a caregiver in assisted living, memory care, or home care settings, is able to work weekends, diligent in paperwork, possesses an excellent work ethic, and has great assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and record resident health and medication needs.
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance caregiving skills.
• Document resident interactions and progress in care plans.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of living spaces.

Requirements

• 1 years’ experience as a care giver in an assisted living, memory care or home care setting
• Able to work weekends
• Diligent in paper work
• Excellent work ethic
• Great assessment skills
• Interested in learning and growing your skill set

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Knowledge of senior care best practices
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and documentation

$21.00 per hour paid bi-weekly
