Part-Time NOC Shift Caregiver Tuesdays and Saturdays
Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community is a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Escondido, opened in 2009. We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing services, with a mission to "Honor God by serving others with love and compassion."
About the role
We're looking for compassionate and dependable individuals who take joy in providing excellent, personalized care for those facing temporary setbacks or the challenges of aging. Our team of caregivers focuses on both accurate care and enriching personal interactions, fostering a friendly and dedicated environment that residents and their families appreciate.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, and showers
- Manage medications and provide light meal preparation
- Handle laundry and escort residents to dining and activities around campus
- Provide general support to help residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence
- Respond to resident needs across a large campus, including walking and using golf carts
Requirements
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and basic physical exam
- Commitment to excellence in care and attention to detail
- Professionalism in following HIPAA standards and promoting resident dignity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and the following schedule: NOC Shift (11 PM to 7:30 AM) on Tuesdays and Saturdays
- Reliable attendance, teamwork, and patience
- Prior experience in caregiving is preferred but not required
Qualifications
All caregivers will receive online and in-person training prior to working independently. The role involves active movement across two main buildings and multiple cottages on the property.
Preferred start date: September 1, 2026.
