Fedelta Home Care is hosting a Walk-In Wednesday Hiring Event on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at 221 Kenyon Street NW, Suite 202, Olympia, WA 98501 (in the Kenyon Professional Plaza on the 2nd floor). Park behind the building and take the ramp closest to Kenyon Street to the 2nd floor. On-the-spot interviews and hiring will be available, along with snacks, beverages, and information about our paid HCA training program.

About the role

We are looking for caregivers to provide in-home support to clients in Thurston and Mason Counties. Care needs vary, but responsibilities typically include personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders and assistance
• Assistance with bathing, grooming, and mobility
• Stand-by support, repositioning, or lifting
• Companionship—conversation, games, walks, etc.
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation to appointments and errands (as needed)

Requirements

• Active WA State HCA or CNA license (Fedelta offers a fully compensated licensure program for new caregivers)
• Driver’s license, vehicle, car insurance, and clean driving record (required)
• Day-time availability
• Reliable transportation to client locations
• Smartphone for timekeeping (iPhone or Android)
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong time management, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Patience, tact, and professionalism in diverse and stressful situations
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, WellSky Personal Care, or similar systems

Qualifications

• Licensed CNAs/HCAs (preferred, but not required)
• RN Delegation certification (highly desired)
• Experience communicating with diverse populations
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high customer service standards

Pay

• $23.25 – $24.75 per hour, based on experience
• $0.76/mile reimbursement
• Additional shift differentials may apply

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds when assisting with direct patient care
• Seldom required to lift and/or move more than 100 pounds (with assistance)
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, lift, balance, use hands, talk, hear, bend, and reach
• Occasionally required to climb ladders or steps, carry, push, pull, or move objects
• Must have close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

• Work is performed in clients’ homes and while traveling between locations
• May be exposed to atmospheric conditions (fumes, odors, dust, poor ventilation)
• May be exposed to infectious diseases
• Noise level is typically low (similar to a home or office environment)
