Caregiver - Help People at Home - Summit County

About the role

Provide in‑home assistance to older adults in Summit County, helping with bathing, dressing, meals, light cleaning, errands, and companionship. You drive to clients’ homes, support mobility, and are on your feet most of the day. The work is physical and does not involve administering medication or performing medical tasks. You build ongoing relationships with 2‑4 regular clients and may work in any of the 14 cities we serve, with assignments based on your travel preferences.

Responsibilities

• Drive to clients’ homes
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• Run errands (shopping, pharmacy, etc.)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help clients with mobility and transfers
• Follow company policies and report incidents within 24 hours
• Maintain timely communication with the office (answer calls/texts, submit documents)
• Do not administer medication or perform medical tasks

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and personal automobile with insurance that covers work‑related driving
• Ability to pass a background check
