Caregiver - HCA + Valid Drivers License Needed

About the Role

TheKey is hiring caregivers in Napa, Fairfield, and surrounding areas for flexible, part-time shifts of 4-8 hours daily, with weekend availability. This role has the potential to grow into a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Drive clients to medical appointments and outings (must have your own vehicle with up-to-date registration and insurance).
• Provide high-quality in-home care to help seniors maintain independence and thrive at home.
• Assist with scheduled activities and customized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Deliver exceptional care to clients in their homes and help execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans.
• Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client by providing ongoing social and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care activities such as personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding, and meal preparation.
• Maintain order, safety, and client enjoyment at all times.
• Perform administrative functions such as documenting task completion and reporting changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability, or behavior.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience (applicants with less than 1 year of professional experience will be disqualified).
• Must have CADL (California Driver License) and car insurance.
• Alzheimer’s or Dementia experience is a plus.
• Empathy, compassion, and kindness are a must.
• Ability to use sound judgment and remain calm in a variety of situations.
• Must be reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Basic computer skills and overall technical savviness.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a background check and provide references.
• Must comply with fingerprint identification requirements as per the California Health and Safety Code.
