Caregiver - Full Time

About the Role

This role involves providing community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, supporting behavioral and complex needs, and helping participants engage in community activities and achieve personal goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The role emphasizes building meaningful relationships, promoting independence, and ensuring participants' well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities
• Support behavioral challenges and complex needs
• Encourage participation in community activities and personal development
• Build trusting relationships with individuals served
• Promote independence and support personal goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Six months of experience in human services or care preferred
• Strong communication, adaptability, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
• Valid driver’s license for at least one year and a clean motor vehicle record

Pay

$20/hour

Schedule
