Caregiver/Direct Care Provider (PRN)

As a Caregiver/Direct Care you will play a critical role in transforming lives and helping individuals regain their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities

• Supervise and directly train patients with brain injuries in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and therapeutic home programs.
• Teach, monitor, administer, and document individual patient programs—including ADLs and therapeutic home programs—in English.
• Perform bed, bath, toilet, and chair transfers (up to 20 times per shift) using approved transfer techniques.
• Ensure safety of patients, visitors, staff, and yourself when interacting with patients who may have behavioral outbursts (yelling, exiting, hitting, kicking, biting, spitting, scratching, throwing objects).
• Provide skilled instruction and supervision in a residential‑apartment/home‑like setting.
• Engage patients in social, recreational, shopping, and entertainment activities in community settings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Successful completion of a drug screen, health screen, and criminal record check (fingerprints) for caregiver positions.

Pay

• Starting wage: $17.00 /hr.
• Opportunity to earn up to $19.25 /hr within six months through the continuing education program.
• $1 /hr shift differential for regularly scheduled 3 pm – 11:30 pm shifts.
• Daily Pay: access earnings immediately after completing a shift.
