About the role
At Senior Helpers of Sheboygan, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors while building a career you can be proud of. We are currently hiring compassionate one-on-one In-Home Caregivers to serve clients in Sheboygan and surrounding communities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) according to their care plan.
- Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities.
- Assist with walking, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping tasks.
- Observe and report changes in clients' physical condition, mental status, and behavior.
- Document services provided and communicate updates with the care team.
- Promote client safety, comfort, and independence.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Dependable, patient, and compassionate.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is preferred but not required—we provide training.
