Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation
• Prepare meals and clean up meal-related items
• Assist with personal care, such as bathing and grooming
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care
• Provide medication and appointment reminders
• Perform light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)
• Transport clients to appointments and assist with errands or shopping
• Provide Alzheimer's care

Requirements

• Professional experience is not required; paid training is provided
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 25 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Personal reliable vehicle, auto insurance, and driver's license required
• Reside in Madison County, IL, and be willing to travel within 30 miles of your home
• Ability to use basic technology (cell phone apps) to provide reports through our electronic system
