Caregiver/Companion PT short shifts

I'm a laid-back person who enjoys the little things in life—laughing, good conversation, and a relaxed environment. I'm looking for a kind, dependable caregiver/companion to join my home on the north side of Stevens Point, near Sentry Insurance.

About Me

I enjoy:

• Watching TV (especially Hallmark, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The Golden Girls)
• Listening to music (80s hits, Bon Jovi, OneRepublic, Imagine Dragons, Florida Georgia Line, Yungblud)
• Playing cards
• Shopping
• Spending time with animals (I have two cats)
• Getting outside when the weather is warm

I love kids, enjoy chatting, and like to giggle and laugh. I’m looking for someone with a bubbly personality who enjoys conversation and companionship.

Schedule

• 8–10 am, 2–3 weekdays per week
• One weekend per month (could include a PM shift both days, if preferred)

Pay

$17.35/hour

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and conversation
• Helping with cooking and light cleaning
• Preparing healthy meals that can be reheated later
• Assisting with sit-to-stand transfers and getting out of bed
• Commode and brief changes
• Occasional sponge baths (helping with areas I can’t reach myself)
• Hair washing in the sink
• Helping with socks and shoes on appointment days
• Going for short walks outside when it’s warm
• Light cleaning and laundry

Requirements

• Caring, friendly, and dependable
• On time and easygoing
• Comfortable dressing casually and being yourself
• Enjoys conversation and laughter
• Able to pass a background check
• 18+ years old
• Previous caregiving experience or willingness to learn
• Naturally upbeat personality
• Pet-friendly (two cats in the home)
