About the Role
Griswold Home Care in Jasper, IN (and surrounding cities) is calling all compassionate individuals to apply to join our amazing team as a Caregiver. As the oldest non-medical home care franchise organization in the country, we support families by referring professional caregivers for personal care, homemaking, and companionship services. Responsibilities
- Help seniors live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in the places they love
- Provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship
- Assist with laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation
- Help clients maintain proper personal hygiene with dignity always at the forefront
- Aid clients with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding
- Provide companionship to clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments
- Complete documentation for each shift and submit timely updates
- Communicate routinely with the office about the condition and needs of clients
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 2+ years of home care experience (a plus; caring for a loved one counts)
Pay
$19-$23
Schedule
Flexible hours with opportunities to assist seniors on both day and night shifts. Clients may receive as little as 4 hours of care, while others require 24-hour care.
