Caregiver / CNA - Full-Time/Part-Time

About the role

This role involves providing personal and hands-on care to seniors in their homes or facilities, including assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, transportation, and errands. Caregivers may support with medication administration, G-Tube feedings, trach care, and wound care under RN supervision. They are responsible for reading care plans, delivering consistent quality care, and observing clients for changes in behavior or health, notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Key duties include adhering to company policies, clocking in/out properly, and ensuring client safety and well-being. The environment may vary from homes to hospitals or assisted living facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, transportation, and errands.
• Support medication administration, G-Tube feedings, trach care, and wound care under RN supervision.
• Read care plans and deliver consistent quality care.
• Observe clients for changes in behavior or health and notify appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to company policies, clock in/out properly, and ensure client safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, compassion, reliability.
• Ability to lift 20-30 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
• Pass background and drug tests.
• Maintain skills through ongoing education.

Requirements

• Flexibility to work at least one shift weekly.
• Travel up to 25 miles.
• Ability to work in diverse settings (homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities).
