About the role

At BAYADA, we seek individuals passionate about caring and committed to helping people live their best lives at home. As a caregiver, you will support clients with activities of daily living, household support, and companion care services.

Responsibilities

• Follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse
• Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care services
• Support adults in staying safe and independent at home
• Develop close relationships with clients
• Help with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Perform household support tasks like light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Prepare and feed meals
• Assist with range of motion exercises and ambulation
• Remind patients about medication

Requirements

• A minimum of one year of professional home health or patient care experience is required.
• Exceptional applicants without experience may be considered and trained.
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Pay

$27.00/hr, plus mileage reimbursement $0.55/per mile, and weekly pay
