Career Services Support Specialist
About the role
The Career Services Support Specialist at ECPI University assists the Career Services team by coordinating career-related events, maintaining job search resources, and providing direct support to students and alumni.
Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing career fairs, workshops, and employer information sessions to connect students with potential employers.
- Maintain career services platforms, such as Handshake, to post job opportunities and track student engagement.
- Answer questions students may have regarding Career Services and assist those seeking employment while in school, including externships.
- Support the development and maintenance of relationships with local and regional employers to facilitate job placements and internships/externships.
- Monitor and report on employment outcomes, student participation in career services, and satisfaction metrics to inform continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in career advising or employee recruitment preferred.
Skills
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, other career services software a plus.
- Ability to organize events and workshops effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students and faculty.
- Familiarity with employer hiring expectations.

Pay
In accordance with Virginia law, the good-faith hourly pay range for this position is $20.75-$27.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, skills, and other legitimate business factors.
Schedule
This position is based at our Virginia Beach, VA campus location.
