About the role

In this role, you'll work under the guidance of our Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act (WIOA) Team Leader to provide individual and group services aimed at enhancing work experience, readiness skills, and job training. You will mentor, assess, and supervise clients enrolled in various workforce development programs.

Responsibilities

• Determine client eligibility for WIOA services and document program requirements and action steps in accordance with federal and organizational guidelines.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ skills, aptitudes, work history, and service needs—including supportive services—and develop tailored employment plans based on assessment findings.
• Utilize the Transition to Success model and the “Map of My Dreams” workbook to assist clients in setting and tracking personal development goals.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Associate degree with two (2) years of work-related experience. Alternatively, a combination of education and relevant experience that demonstrates the necessary skills and qualifications for this position.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a related field.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine commitment to helping others succeed.
