About the role
The Career Services Consultant plays a vital role in supporting the professional development and career readiness of Coastal Carolina University students and alumni. This position provides individualized guidance, facilitates career exploration, and contributes to major campus-wide career initiatives. Consultants serve as front-line representatives of the Career Services Center, ensuring that every student receives knowledgeable, high-quality support as they prepare for internships, employment opportunities, and long-term career success.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a front-line representative of the Career Services Center.
- Provide individualized guidance and facilitate career exploration.
- Contribute to major campus-wide career initiatives.
- Be available during all scheduled CSotG hours to provide timely, accessible career support to students and alumni across campus.
- Manage front desk operations within the Career Services Center, including greeting guests, answering phone calls, and entering and scheduling appointments.
- Promote Career Services across campus through marketing efforts.
- Support the development and visibility of the CCU Career Services brand.
- Maintain an ongoing benchmark research agenda that analyzes peer institutions, aspirant universities, Sun Belt Conference schools, and other South Carolina public institutions.
Requirements
- MUST BE AN ACTIVE CCU STUDENT.
