Career Development Specialist

Aim of the Role

To provide one-on-one career counseling to employees at all levels, design and deliver career development workshops and resources, maintain and update career pathways, collaborate with leaders and HR partners to identify internal mobility opportunities, support talent pipeline initiatives, track career development metrics, analyze trends to recommend improvements in career programs, promote career resources and tools to increase utilization, and serve as a subject matter expert on career development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one career counseling to employees at all levels.
• Design and deliver career development workshops and resources.
• Maintain and update career pathways aligned with organizational needs and provide a connection to educational resources.
• Collaborate with leaders and HR partners to identify internal mobility opportunities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on career development best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years in career counseling, workforce development, or related HR/L&D roles.
• Certification in career coaching or counseling preferred.

• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of career development best practices.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
