About the role

The Operations Leader Trainee position at White Cap is part of a comprehensive career development program designed to build trust and support the company's growth. This role offers rotational assignments across various business segments, providing hands-on training and exposure to different aspects of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in on-the-job training and job shadowing to learn business systems and processes.
  • Participate in a tailored learning curriculum with leadership development sessions, operations training, and systems training.
  • Develop skills and knowledge to become a future operations leader.
  • Present a capstone project to White Cap leadership, showcasing your capabilities and potential.
  • Receive support from a Regional Advocate, Mentor, and process coaches.
  • Gain exposure to Senior Leadership throughout the program.

Requirements

  • Willing to relocate upon completion of the program.
  • Able to start the program between March and June.
  • Driven to succeed with an energetic, professional, and goal-oriented attitude.
  • Strong operations focus, including the ability to partner with customers to develop value-added solutions and lead or build teams.
  • Strong communication skills and experience interacting with team members and customers.

  • Preferred qualifications include relocation willingness, starting availability, drive to succeed, strong operations focus, and effective communication skills.
