Career and Technical Education Instructional Coach
About the role
The CTE Instructional Coach provides consultation, modeling and training to CTE teachers in support of students in CCIU CTE programs. The coach promotes planning and implementation of instructional practices to increase CTE student achievement.
Responsibilities
- Participate in required training and ongoing professional development.
- Provide information, material preparation, modeling, consultation and support to teachers regarding best practices in CTE instruction, including: lesson planning that supports the program task lists; differentiating instruction; instructional adaptations and modifications; classroom management; working with parents and colleagues; as well as any other areas of concern.
- Provide guidance and support to professional vocational staff navigating the Vocational Certification process.
- Maintain accurate records of all assignments and progress of supported staff.
- Facilitate timely response to requests and assessed needs of assigned teachers.
Qualifications
- Active and Valid PDE Vocational II or Instructional II certificate required.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of current research-based professional education practices, including collegial coaching and adult learning, as it relates to Career and Technical Education.
- Active participation in continuing professional education.

- $69,353 - $101,911 - Master's Degree
- $72,740 - $105,924 - Master's + 15
- $74,415 - $107,845 - Master's + 30 AA
