Care Van Driver - Per Diem

About the role

Hours range from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This is a per diem position and will be as needed. Responsible for providing safe, courteous, and on-schedule transportation to clients.

Responsibilities

• Follows Care Van schedules and communicates with staff regarding all aspects of clients’ transportation.
• Assists clients in a prompt, helpful, courteous, and compassionate manner.
• Communicates any vehicle maintenance needs to the appropriate staff.
• Ensures that vehicle mileage and maintenance logs are current.
• Follows outlined safety protocols in emergency situations.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No

Licenses and Credentials

• Basic Life Support (BLS Certification) – various issuers required
• Medical Examiner’s Certificate for Fitness to Drive (C-DOT/MED) – National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners required
• Personal Driver’s License (New Hampshire) – New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles required

Experience

• Patient Transportation Experience: 1–2 years required

Pay
