Care Van Driver - Per Diem

Job Summary

Hours range from 7:30am - 4:30 pm M-F. This is a per diem position and will be as needed. Responsible for providing safe, courteous, and on schedule transportation to our clients.

Essential Functions

• Follows Care Van schedules and communicates with staff regarding all aspects of clients’ transportation.
• Aids clients in a prompt, helpful, courteous and compassionate manner.
• Communicates any vehicle maintenance needs to the appropriate staff.
• Ensures that vehicle mileage and maintenance logs are current.
• Follows outlined safety protocols in emergency situations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• No experience in lieu of a degree accepted.
• Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required.
• C-MED Medical Examiner's Certificate for Fitness to Drive - National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners required.
• New Hampshire Personal Drivers License - New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles required.
• Patient Transportation Experience 1-2 years required.
