Care Van Driver - Per Diem
Job Summary
Hours range from 7:30am - 4:30 pm M-F. This is a per diem position and will be as needed. Responsible for providing safe, courteous, and on schedule transportation to our clients.
Essential Functions
- Follows Care Van schedules and communicates with staff regarding all aspects of clients’ transportation.
- Aids clients in a prompt, helpful, courteous and compassionate manner.
- Communicates any vehicle maintenance needs to the appropriate staff.
- Ensures that vehicle mileage and maintenance logs are current.
- Follows outlined safety protocols in emergency situations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- No experience in lieu of a degree accepted.
- Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required.
- C-MED Medical Examiner's Certificate for Fitness to Drive - National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners required.
- New Hampshire Personal Drivers License - New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles required.
- Patient Transportation Experience 1-2 years required.
