Responsibilities
- Assist with program activities, which may include planning and implementing recreational activities, helping clients with daily living tasks, and providing emotional support.
- Transport clients to and from various locations, including medical appointments, grocery stores, and community events.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of client attendance and transportation schedules.
- Collaborate with program staff and other drivers to ensure that clients receive the necessary services.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and eligibility for Public Service License to operate a van are required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important.
- Experience working with diverse populations is preferred.
