Responsibilities
- Supports the care team by performing basic patient cares and non-clinical functions such as: Order entry, form completion, prior authorization, panel management, faxing, equipment cleaning, room cleaning/stocking, monitoring supply inventory/expiration dates, and other duties as assigned.
- Functions as a team member and displays professionalism while interacting with patients, families and co-workers.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills, initiative, proficiency, and good judgment to optimize the use of the care team's time and maintain a smooth work flow.
- Exhibits appropriate use of telecommunications equipment and uses computer efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality and excellence are important components of this role.
- Maintains regulatory requirements and follows system policies, procedures and standards.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One year of customer service experience.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Must be adaptable to a changing environment.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Knowledge of Pharmacology principles preferred.
- Prior experience in health care/medical office preferred.
- Working knowledge of an Electronic Medical Record preferred.

Pay
$19.43 - $26.44 / hour
Schedule
- Full Time
- 72 hours per pay period
- Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- No weekends
