About the role

Welcome to Home Instead Trumbull, CT. We are looking for a caring, compassionate & dedicated Care Professional to join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, feeding)
• Experienced with cognitive impairment preferred
• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks (vacuum, wet mop, dust, laundry, etc.)
• Meal preparation
• Transportation
• Reminders (medication, appointments, etc.)
• Engagement of Functional Activities for Mind & Body

Requirements

• Dependable, possess an excellent attitude and the ability to follow instructions
• Treat seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Communicate with all team members of Home Instead, clients and their family members in a friendly and professional manner
• Adapt to various living environments and locations

Qualifications

• Drive to help Seniors thrive in the community
• Current proof of negative TB
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and Drug Screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
