About the Role
As a member of the Cathedral Home team, you will play a vital role in advocating for those in need and fostering a supportive environment for growth and healing.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion the needs of youth and families within the community, ensuring their voices are heard.
- Establish meaningful connections with clients by providing lasting support and guidance.
- Actively contribute to solutions that meet our community's diverse needs.
- Develop safe, meaningful, and therapeutic relationships with youth in residential treatment to help them navigate their challenges.
- Uphold an environment of physical and emotional safety, assisting youth in addressing trauma and building essential life skills.
- Create a supportive and trauma-informed environment to enhance client safety and well-being.
- Participate actively in positive, therapeutic relationships with clients through field trips, activities, group discussions, and play.
- Effectively manage behavior needs and de-escalate crisis situations with compassion and understanding.
- Work closely with counselors and treatment teams to develop comprehensive goals and objectives for client care plans.
- Partner with various agencies and child welfare groups to ensure plans are in the best interest of the youth and clients we serve.
- Show a genuine desire to promote the welfare of children, teens, and families in our community.
Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Schedule
- Morning/Mid/Overnight shifts available
- Part-Time (20 hours per week)
