About the role
Role Overview The Caregiver provides hands-on support to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care. They follow individualized service plans, document changes, and promote safety, dignity, and independence. Engaging residents through conversation and activities, supporting dining services, and maintaining a welcoming environment are key responsibilities. In Memory Care, the Caregiver creates enriching experiences for residents with memory loss. Effective communication with families and care teams is essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and ADLs
- Document changes and follow care plans

Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
- Current certification as CHHA & CNA in New Jersey
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
