About the role
The Caregiver supports seniors by assisting with daily activities, promoting safety, dignity, and independence, and engaging residents through conversation and activities. They follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP), document changes, and support dining and environment cleanliness. In Memory Care, they create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care
- Following care plans and documenting updates
- Promoting safety, dignity, and independence
- Engaging residents in conversation and activities
- Supporting dining services and maintaining a welcoming environment
- Communicating effectively with families and care team members
- Creating enriching experiences for memory care residents
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
