Care Giver - Day Position

About the role

Addington Place of Shoal is hiring full-time Care Giver for day positions. The hours for this position are 7:00am to 7:00pm with a 2-week rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Able to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Able to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
