Responsibilities

• Triage incoming phone calls, create referrals, and schedule appointments.
• Connect patients to the appropriate physician office based on condition, insurance, location, availability, and patient preference.
• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
• Document and close cases in Salesforce.
• Send patient itineraries via Salesforce.
• Obtain and accurately document patient demographics.
• Complete full patient registration.
• Schedule various types of appointments.
• Transcribe medical orders.
• Verify patient insurance coverage.
• Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions.

Requirements

This role requires a high school diploma (or GED), with a preferred associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in healthcare or a related customer service field. Essential experience includes 1 year of relevant experience, strong customer service and communication skills, proficiency in healthcare-specific software, and familiarity with medical terminology and scheduling parameters.

Benefits

HSS offers a competitive compensation package, with the base pay scale ranging from $32.39 to $36.04 per hour. Additional benefits are available and will be determined based on various factors including the scope of the role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

Pay

The base pay scale for this position is $32.39 - $36.04.

Schedule

The Work Shift is Day, and the Work Schedule is Saturdays and Sundays 7am – 3:15pm.
