Care Assistant Days Part Time

About the role

We are seeking a Care Assistant to work part-time days at Neale Court Care Home in Lincoln, part of The Country Court Family. The home is small and cozy, fostering a family-like atmosphere where staff are always available 24/7 to ensure residents are safe and well cared for.

Responsibilities

• Helping residents with personal support and care
• Aiding emotional well-being and social needs
• Supporting residents at meal times
• Maintaining and developing residents' care plans
• Interacting with residents on a personal level

Requirements

• No previous experience as a Care Assistant is required
• Experience with people living with dementia is preferred but not essential
• Must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards this qualification
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to engage well with residents and their families

Qualifications

• Understanding of people with dementia
