Responsibilities

• Provides coordinated patient care to adult patients requiring cath lab service including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Includes pre-procedure patient preparation, post-procedure recovery, and emergency interventions.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served: Adult, Geriatric.

Qualifications

• A graduate of a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate academic program in health science (includes, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing).
• Prefer at least one year of experience in a cardiac cath lab if not a graduate of a Cardiovascular Technology Program.
• Training and demonstrated competence in cardiac rhythm/arrhythmia recognition.
• Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist: ARRT – Cardiac Interventional or Vascular Interventional; Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Technologist, Radiography-Cardiovascular Interventional [RT(R)(CI)] or Registered Technologist, Radiography-Vascular-Interventional [RT(R)(VI)] credential required within 2 years of date of hire.
• Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 3 months of employment.
• Exemption Status: Nonexempt.

$35.45 - $53.15 / hour

Schedule

• Full Time
• Hours/Pay Period: 72
• Schedule Details: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm. Weeknight on-call rotation.
• Weekend Schedule: Weekend on-call rotation.
