About the role
This role supports invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during procedures as a scrub tech and monitor tech
- Operate imaging equipment
- Interpret EKGs and pressures
- Prepare and clean the cath lab
- Ensure patient safety
- Manage supplies
- Assist in training staff and students
- Ensure proper inventory management
- Support patient transport and preparation
Qualifications
An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or relevant experience is required. Certifications include AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support and RCIS (to be obtained within 18 months) or ARRT and TX RT(R).
