Job Responsibilities
- Ensure emergency equipment and supplies are always ready.
- Recognize and respond to potential emergency situations as needed.
- Maintain safe and therapeutic environment by promoting safety practices & standards, maintaining knowledge of equipment operation, adhering to equipment safety guidelines, and reporting any malfunctions.
- Complete and maintain accurate departmental records and logs in a timely manner by entering patient data and charges into electronic systems, and safeguarding patient privacy & confidentiality.
- Maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and colleagues through effective communication and responsiveness; sensitively address conflicts & concerns as needed.
- Provide coverage for 24-hour emergency call for Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Facilitate activities between departments to ensure prompt patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate patient stability during procedures, administer medications & treatments under supervision, and assist with advanced procedures.
- Offer mentorship and support to co-workers & trainees, participate in Continuing Education & in-service opportunities, and perform/maintain assigned point-of-care testing and annual competencies.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current license as a Registered Nurse in NC or Completion of an Allied Health Technology Program (Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, etc.) with registry or license as it pertains to field of expertise or Completion of Cardiovascular Interventional Program.
- Two years of experience of experience within registry/license scope preferred.
- CPR certification upon hire.
- Proficient in procedure room roles (Circulator, Recorder, Scrubbing).
- Professional communication skills with diverse age groups.
- Analytical skills for scheduling, equipment, and instruction comprehension.

Pay
$35.50 - $53.25 per hour
Schedule
Weekdays, 7:30am-4:00pm (unless otherwise discussed by manager)
Call 1 night/week and every 5th weekend
