About the role

The Cardiology Section Chief position is available in Prescott, Arizona, within the Yavapai Regional Medical Group. This role is a pivotal leadership position focused on leading and innovating within a prestigious, established, and growing employed practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide 0.8 FTE of dedicated clinical cardiology care
• Dedicate 0.2 FTE to departmental strategic planning
• Establish cutting-edge protocols
• Conduct comprehensive provider performance reviews
• Champion professional development initiatives for the cardiology team
• Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer to elevate patient experience and integrate into a robust leadership framework
• Participate in the Yavapai Regional Medical Group Leadership Council and shape future medical education programs

Requirements

• Completion of a residency in medicine and a fellowship in cardiology, in ACGME approved programs
• Current BC/BE in Cardiology (American Board of Internal Medicine/Cardiology)
• Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
• Valid DEA certificate
