About the role
The Cardiology Section Chief position is available in Prescott, Arizona, within the Yavapai Regional Medical Group. This role is a pivotal leadership position focused on leading and innovating within a prestigious, established, and growing employed practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide 0.8 FTE of dedicated clinical cardiology care
- Dedicate 0.2 FTE to departmental strategic planning
- Establish cutting-edge protocols
- Conduct comprehensive provider performance reviews
- Champion professional development initiatives for the cardiology team
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer to elevate patient experience and integrate into a robust leadership framework
- Participate in the Yavapai Regional Medical Group Leadership Council and shape future medical education programs
Requirements
- Completion of a residency in medicine and a fellowship in cardiology, in ACGME approved programs
- Current BC/BE in Cardiology (American Board of Internal Medicine/Cardiology)
- Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
- Valid DEA certificate
