Cardiovascular ICU Patient Care Technician II

About the role

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Patient Care Tech IIs will provide direct bedside care to patients:

• Performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of the patient
• Maintains appropriate documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheets
• Assists physicians with examinations and tests as needed

Schedule

• Full time, 36 hours/week (three 12-hour shifts per week)
• Rotating day/night shifts
• Every third weekend required
• 1 holiday per season required
• Schedules available 6 weeks in advance

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• One of the following is required: Pennsylvania PCT, PA Certified Nursing Assistant, or PA EMT
• Minimum of 2 years nursing assistant, PCT, or healthcare experience required (or certification and completion of advanced skills and knowledge training within six months of hire)
• AHA BLS required
