About the role

As an Echocardiography Technician, you’ll capture the heart’s story using ultrasound equipment to create detailed images of the heart’s chambers, valves, and vessels. Your work will help cardiologists diagnose heart conditions and guide patient care.

Responsibilities

• Capture the Heart’s Story: Create stunning images of the heart to assess its function and diagnose heart conditions.
• Work with the Experts: Perform diagnostic tests and share findings with cardiologists to guide patient care.
• Engage with Patients: Interview and prepare patients for their heart exams, ensuring the images are of high quality.
• Stress Test the Heart: Conduct various types of heart exams, including relaxing, lying-down tests and high-energy treadmill exams, to assess how the heart performs under different conditions.

Requirements

• Education: A certificate or associate's degree in Echocardiography or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography.
• Certification (Optional, but awesome): Earn credentials like Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer for career advancement.
