About Us

Cardiac Diagnostics at the Freeman Heart Institute provides comprehensive non-invasive cardiac testing for both outpatient and inpatient populations. Services include:

• Transthoracic Echocardiography
• Pharmaceutical Stress Testing
• Treadmill Stress Testing

The Echo Lab operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Critical Care services and a dedicated staff member are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

In conjunction with the medical plan of care and under the direct supervision of the physician, you will:

• Independently perform systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients.
• Implement appropriate diagnostic, occasionally provide interventional and therapeutic care.
• Evaluate effectiveness and adjust the plan as indicated in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Current Echo Cardiographer certification through ARDMS as RDCS (RVT and RDMS accepted with previous echo experience).
• OR certification through CCI as RCS or RCCS (RVS and CCT accepted with previous echo experience).

Schedule

Day Shift, full-time, 40 hours per week.
