Cardiovascular Cath Lab Tech 13-week assignment System SRO Pool

About the role

Serves as a staffing resource office pool team member completing 13‑week assignments with the hospital Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team, assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures and functioning independently during diagnostics and interventions with minimal supervision. The role is a SRO System Pool Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for 13‑26 week full‑time assignments with on‑call requirements, filling staffing needs of the unit.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing in for procedures (Cardiac Caths and Pacemaker Implants)
• Using hemodynamic system to monitor patient and document procedure
• On call for emergent procedures
• Assist in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures
• Function independently during diagnostics and interventions with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology
• Associates in Respiratory + RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology
• Graduate of Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Program/Degree and No Experience
• 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education
• RCIS and/or RCES and 2 years of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education
• Active BLS & ACLS certification (accepted from American Heart Association)

Schedule

• Shift hours: 6:30AM – 5:00 PM (shift end times sometimes go until 7 PM)
• Weekend work: Occasional STEMI
• On call: Yes (must be within 30 minutes of hospital)
• Remote work: Never
