Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician

About the role

The Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician will be responsible for developing and advancing the cardiothoracic service line at AdventHealth Port Charlotte. This position will collaborate with administration to strategically grow the service line and will have a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Dedicated to the Heart Tower with 10-bed cardiac surgical care unit
• Works in 2 open heart rooms, 1 hybrid room, 3 Cath lab rooms, 1 EP room
• Utilizes employed cardiac anesthesia and DAX AIscribe tool
• Collaborates with administration to grow and advance the cardiothoracic service line
• Engages in immediate practice growth opportunities
• Works in a strong referral network

Requirements

• Board-Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or without US residency with current US work visa

Qualifications

• Experience in program development
• Interest in strategic growth of the cardiothoracic service line
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
