Cardiothoracic Surgery - Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - PA

About the role

Experienced Advanced Practitioner needed for thriving CT Surgery program. Assist surgeon(s) in OR with cardiac and thoracic surgeries, inpatient rounding, and outpatient clinic. Monday through Friday schedule with 1 weekend call per month.

Work-Life Balance

Traditional work week with 1:4 call coverage. Rotating weeks of OR coverage, inpatient rounding, and clinic time for practice variability. Generous paid time off in addition to holidays and sick time.

Comprehensive Compensation And Benefits

Starting compensation range $160K - $170K. Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, prescription, and disability insurance. Malpractice insurance, including tail coverage. 403B and 457B retirement options; HSA option. Allowance for primary licensure fees and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate and renewals.

A 254-bed tertiary care referral center, Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA, has received numerous national awards for the high-quality care it provides to patients. The hospital is the region's only Level I Trauma Center, accredited by the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation, and is served by Guthrie Air, a regional aeromedical helicopter program.
