Description
HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking an experienced cardiac physician assistant to join an established cardiothoracic surgery practice.
About the role
Supports our well-respected and experienced cardiothoracic surgeons in our employed practice.
Responsibilities
- Rounding on patients in the hospital
- First assisting in cardiac and thoracic surgery procedures
- One hospital
- Some practice call may be required
- Some ICU work - depending on need
Requirements
- Experience in OR preferred
- Experience with cardiothoracic patients preferred
- Proficient in vein harvesting (EVH and open) ideal but can be taught
Qualifications
- Specialization: Cardiothoracic Surgery

- Experience in OR
- Experience with cardiothoracic patients
