Seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP) to support hospital-based cardiothoracic surgery services. Responsibilities include first assist in surgeriesvein harvesting using Maquet systeminpatient roundingpre- and post-operative evaluationswound care, chest tube and pacing wire removaldischarge planning and emergency response Work schedule is Monday–Friday, with night, weekend, and 24-hour call coverage. Qualifications include current nurse practitioner or physician assistant certificationIndiana medical licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Experience With Epic EMR Is Preferred. Key skills involve surgical assistance, patient evaluation, emergency protocols, and inpatient care management.
