About the role
The successful candidate will join a high caliber, quality-focused, innovative cardiovascular team to expand and provide care to local communities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive experience for all patients, families, and staff.
- Provide comprehensive cardiovascular services to the community, including but not limited to cardiothoracic surgery.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new cardiovascular programs and initiatives.
Requirements
- Board eligible or board certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Experience working with culturally diverse patients is preferred.
- Fluency in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Nepali, or Bosnian is preferred.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Current medical license to practice in Michigan.
- Completion of a recognized cardiothoracic surgery residency program.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
